I bought this guitar around 14 years ago from a shop who had the crack in the headstock professionally repaired. They advised the repair was carried out in 2005 and I have had no issues with this at any time.
It was only a very minor crack and I have detailed this in the pictures.
The shop advised that their repairer was unable to replace the machine head with a Jackson one, but what they fitted works well and holds tune nicely.
I am selling this guitar as its too ‘heavy metal’ for my style these days.
It has a lovely finish and is simply stunning to look at. Body has a lovely flame wood effect which can be seen in the pictures. It actually looks far better in the real world than here.
There are a few dings and scratches as it has been played and many were there when I purchased the guitar. I have taken photographs to highlight these. Most are on the back of the guitar which I suspect was caused by a belt buckle by the previous owner.
It also has 24 frets marked with the lovely pearloid shark fin inlays which set it apart from many other guitars. Scale length is 25 ½ - same as Fender.
I believe the guitar dates from the late 1990’s, but I am not sure.
The Floyd Rose is a licensed unit and the pickups are Duncan designed that sound great, especially if you are a metal player. The HSS combination with the 5 way switch also offers a decent range of sounds.
It is strung with 10 - 46 gauge which works well on this guitar, The strings are fairly new as well as I restrung it recently before I decided to sell it.
Open to reasonable offers. These guitars are fetching £ 600 - £ 700 elsewhere.
There is no case or gig bag provided as I never purchased the guitar with one.
